Terms + Conditions

February 2019

Muddy Fingers is committed to: providing a high-quality service; ensuring the safety of all persons who attend our sessions; and being transparent in everything we do. This sets out the terms and conditions between Muddy Fingers and its customers.

Parents/carers are responsible for their own children’s behaviour and Muddy Fingers will not accept responsibility for any Injury sustained, or loss or damage caused by a child’s behaviour.

It is the responsibility of the children’s parent/carer to ensure that the materials used, and the activities undertaken as part of a Muddy Fingers session, pose not risk to their child.

Payment Methods
Payment is made via the website.

Confirmation of place
Your place will be confirmed via email on receipt of full payment.

You may cancel your child’s attendance for a term, and a refund will be issued, provided you inform Muddy Fingers in writing within 7 days of the term commencing. Please note there is an administration charge of up to one session for any changes made.

You may offer your place to a friend as a gift provided you inform Muddy Fingers.

Holidays and sickness policy
In the event that your child cannot attend due to sickness or holiday, discounts or refunds will not be offered.  You may offer your child’s place to a friend who also has a child. You would need to inform Muddy Fingers in this instance.

Parents are asked to keep their child at home if they have a serious infection and to inform Muddy Fingers as to the nature of the infection so that other parents can be alerted. We cannot offer a refund for a session missed due to illness. You may offer your place to a friend, who also has a child. You would need to inform Muddy Fingers in this instance.

Twins discount
Muddy Fingers offers discounts for twins only where another adult can provide supervision of one twin in the event that the other needs to be taken to the bathroom or similar. The session leader can never be responsible for any child.

Supervision and withdrawal of service
All children must be supervised at all times and not left unattended. The session leader cannot be responsible for a child at any time.

Should a carer or associated visitor behave in a way that Muddy Fingers feels is inappropriate, we reserve the right to withdraw the provision of sessions to the customer.

Two weeks before a term runs out Muddy Fingers will ask you whether you wish to renew for the next term. Muddy Fingers will inform you of the mechanism to rebook your space, including the cost and how to make payment.  Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Cancellation of Classes policy
Muddy Fingers will endeavour to run sessions during adverse weather, however, should we need to cancel due to safety concerns, you will be contacted (please also check the Muddy Fingers Facebook page and make sure your phone number is kept up to date on our register).

Where a class is cancelled, an additional one, or a refund against the next term’s fee, will be offered.
