Viables National Children's Gardening Event

Children love growing plants, love being in the garden but they’re often impatient, wanting to see instant results. National Children’s Gardening Week aims to capture children’s enthusiasm at a time when results are immediate. National Children’s Gardening Week takes place annually in the ‘warm’ week at the end of May and supports Greenfingers charity, which is dedicated to providing magical gardens for children in hospices suffering from life limiting illnesses.

Within the hour session there will be practical, hands-on planting activities, nature crafts, theme related games, storytelling and of course tasting exercises!

The class starts at 11:15 am and suitable for children from 2 - 12 years.

Tuesday, 28th May - Viables Community Centre, The Harrow Way, Basingstoke RG22 4BJ

All equipment and resources are provided. I recommend bringing a bag or container to safely transport your pots and crafts home.

The cost is £8.00 per child. The booking fee is included in the price.
